24-year-old Amanda Connolly of Shancastle Park, Clondalkin, alleged she was injured during a brawl outside Finches bar on the Neilstown Road in 2010.
Connolly claimed she was having a cigarette break outside Finches Bar when she was struck on the face by a pint bottle of Bulmers Cider.
She alleged it was thrown by a customer involved a drunken brawl after closing time on March 17.
She suffered injuries and sued the owners of the pub and its security team, claiming they had failed to provide a safe place of work but she's lost her case.
Mr Justice Iarfhlaith O'Neill said it was clear from CCTV footage that she did more than go outside for a smoke - she went much further around the corner to get a good look at a commotion and unfortunately became the victim of a criminal act.
He said if she had stayed by the front door of the pub she would not be in court today.
