Shortage of housing supply in Dublin leads to two tier market

That is according to the latest findings by property website Daft.ie.
Asking prices across the capital are continuing to rise while they are falling elsewhere.
The average national asking price is down 1.5% from the same time last year.
Economist with the company, Ronan Lyons, said overall there are positive signals.
"I think what we are seeing is a welcome development after five or six years of falling prices," he said.
"I don't think it's any reason for the Government to be complacent that it has fixed itself I think there are issues there particulary in relation to Dublin that they do need to address."
