Jury hears phone call made by Paul Byrne as he was being stabbed to death

A jury has heard screams on the 999 phone call made by the late Paul Byrne, as he was being stabbed to death by his wife.

The 48 year old engineer can be heard saying 'please, I'm dying' and 'don't do this' on the recording which lasts several minutes.

The Central Criminal Court has been told he was stabbed over 60 times by Tanya Doyle at their home in Pairc Gleann Trasna, Aylesbury in Tallaght, Dublin on September 4 2009.

She admits the killing but denies murder.
