Man questioned in connection with Larne explosion

A man was questioned tonight about an explosion linked to dissident republicans at a ferry port in the North.

Police also said a number of items had been recovered as part of the operation in Larne, Co Antrim where a 23-year-old man was arrested.

The blast in the town's Britannia Crescent area last night caused damage to a fence.

There was another security alert in the same area today following a report of a suspicious object.
