Archbishop's funeral arrangements announced

The funeral arrangements for the late Archbishop Joseph Cassidy have been announced.

The Archbishop's remains will arrive at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Tuam, this evening at 5pm and will repose in the Cathedral until 10pm, excluding the duration of the First Friday Mass at 7.30 pm.

Archbishop Michael Neary, Archbishop of Tuam, will be the chief celebrant at the funeral Mass on Saturday at noon in the Cathedral of the Assumption.

Mass will be followed by burial afterwards in the grounds of Moore Church.
