ESB employee dies in work place accident

An ESB worker has died in a work place accident.

The incident happened at an ESB networks station in Finglas in North Dublin this afternoon.

In a statement this evening, ESB networks expressed their deep condolences to the man's family.

The company has launched an investigation into the incident, which will also be investigated by the Health and Safety Authority.
