Homes evacuated by police in east Belfast

A number of homes have been evacuated in east Belfast because of a security alert in the area.

Part of the Upper Newtownards Road, between the Knock Road junction and Cabin Hill Park, have been closed to traffic.

Police are currently attending to the scene and diversions are in place.
