Witness appeal after woman seriously injured in Cork crash

A 26-year old woman remains in a serious condition in hospital following car crash in Co. Cork yesterday evening.

She was rushed to Cork University Hospital, after the car she was driving collided with a 4x4 at Cow Cross in Cobh at around 5 o'clock.

The driver of the other vehicle wasn't hurt - the scene remains sealed off while a forensic examination is being carried out.

Gardai are appealing to anyone who witnessed the accident to contact them at Cobh Garda Station.
