Trinity poetry reading to raise funds for blind

'Paradise Lost', one of the longest poems in the English language, will be read in full in Dublin today in aid of charity.

The poem, written by John Milton after losing his sight, will be read by a host of famous Irish writers including Seamus Heaney, Brendan Kennelly and Senator David Norris.

Members of the public are invited to go along to the event at Trinity College and donate towards the National Council for the Blind.
