The remains of 26 year-old Rudo Maware were found on St David's Terrace last January.
Her Zimbabwean boyfriend, who was the main suspect in her killing, was found dead in England four days later.
'He's lying to me, it's over', were the last known words of Rudo Maware, before her gruesome killing in January of last year.
The Malawian student had gone to meet her boyfriend, Jason Dubé, and end their three-month long relationship.
Today's inquest heard how she was strangled, her head was covered with a plastic bag, and her body stuffed into a nylon travel bag, and dumped beside bins.
The jury was told CCTV footage shows Mr Dubé buying a black holdall bag on the day of the killing before fleeing to the UK.
He was later found hanging in a wood, with a suicide note admitting that he had murdered a woman in his Dublin flat.
Senior gardaí told the inquest their murder investigation is now closed, and there are no other potential suspects.
