Trust Egharevba, a mother-of-three, was arrested at Castlecurragh Park, Dublin last week.
Ms Egharevba, 36, is wanted as part of an investigation into the activities of a criminal organisation involved in international money laundering and human trafficking.
The French authorities believe young Nigerian women were being trafficked into France via Italy for prostitution.
Today, at a bail application the High Court heard gardaĆ express concerns that the woman might be a flight risk as she has around €30,000 in three Irish bank accounts and has travelled extensively to Arabic countries, Europe and even to China.
She came to Ireland as a regugee and was recently granted citizenship.
Ms Justice Maureen Clark has suggested that Trust Egharevba's bank savings should be frozen and put up as part of her bail bond but the matter will not be finalised until later this afternoon.
