Two rescued from yacht blaze

Two people have been rescued from a 35-foot yacht off the coast of Co Cork after a fire broke out aboard the vessel.

It were towed back to Courtmacsherry, from a location off the Seven Heads.

The Courtmacsherry RNLI Lifeboat went to the crew's aid just after 7pm, when those on board the yacht noticed a fire and sent an immediate distress call.

Conditions at sea this evening are windy, with Force 4-5 gusts.
