Two escape injury after plane crash lands in Wicklow

Two men escaped injury last night, after a small plane they were travelling in crashed in Co Wicklow.

The incident happened at around 7pm at Newcastle Airfield.

It is understood the Cessna 152 light aircraft lost power as it approached the runway.

An investigation has been launched into the exact cause of the crash.
