One arrest following Manchester crossbow siege

An armed siege involving a man with a crossbow has ended in Greater Manchester.

A 31-year-old has been arrested by police following the stand-off in the Trafford area of the city.

Police and social workers were called to a house on North Lonsdale Street at around 8 thirty last night.
