Ten killed in Damascus blasts

Twin car bombings in a Damascus suburb have killed at least 10 people, Syrian hospital officials said today.

The state SANA news agency said two cars packed with explosives detonated early this morning in the capital's eastern Jaramana suburb, which is populated by mostly Christians and Druze.

Dozens of seriously injured victims were taken to hospital, SANA added.
