Three killed in Iraq bus explosion

Three people have died after a bomb attached to a minibus exploded in the Iraqi capital Baghdad, according to officials.

Police said that the bombing on Sunday took place in the Shiite district of the Sadr city suburb.
More than seven passengers were injured in the blast, the officials said.

Medics in nearby hospital confirmed the death toll.

All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorised to speak to the media.

Violence has ebbed in Iraq but insurgents carry out frequent attacks in an attempt to shake the people's trust in the Shiite-led government.
