EU proposes more funding for young farmers

The EU has made a proposal to provide more funding to young farmers under the reforms to the Common Agricultural Policy.

The move is being welcomed at a conference today being held by Macra na Feirme.

The organisation for young farmers said the funding would be further encouragement for young people people to start a career in farming.
