Aer Lingus passenger numbers down for February due to leap-year effect

The number of people flying with Aer Lingus decreased last month.

According to the airline's traffic statistics for February, the company had 648,000 passengers last month, 1.5% less then February 2012.

However, the airline says it should be noted that there were only 28 days in February this year compared to 29 days in February 2012, a leap year.
