Online sales boost Next numbers

Clothing retailer Next has said online orders helped boost its sales in the run-up to Christmas.

They were up by 11.2%, which is better than forecast.

Meanwhile trading at the company's 500 plus stores in the UK and Ireland rose 0.8% between the start of November and Christmas Eve.
