Apple fires mobile-software execs

Apple has fired the executives in charge of its mobile software efforts and retail stores.

The management shake-up is aimed at making the company's divisions work more
harmoniously together.

Their departures follow a lot of criticism after Apple's new mapping software showed inaccuracies and misplaced cities.
