Olympics fail to help UK retail sales

It looks like the feelgood factor surrounding the London Olympics has failed to reach the UK's shops.

Figures from the British Retail Consortium show that sales values were down 0.4% because fewer people went out spending.

Clothes sales were ranked "disappointing".

The only area that saw a small boost was party food and drink.
