Minimal gains for FTSE

The FTSE 100 Index clung to its opening mark today as progress was held back by poor corporate news flow and disappointing figures from the key services sector.

Ryanair reports record passenger numbers

Ryanair today announced that its June traffic increased by 13% to 5.8 million passengers, a new monthly record.

London shares flat

London shares were flat today after a disappointing survey from the services sector showed growth slowed in June.

ISEQ marginally down

The ISEQ index of Irish shares was marginally down following early trading this morning, valued at €2,660.44 at 11.30am for a drop of 5.25 points or 0.20%.
