The internet giant has officially opened a new facility in Dublin which, it said, will become a magnet for business tourism.
'The Foundry' will be used to educate Google's corporate customers about how they can use the company's online services.
Google vice-president John Herlihy said the facility will add to Ireland's burgeoning tech sector.
Mr Herlihy said: "Ireland has attracted many global internet companies to Dublin, and in recent times we have seen many exciting global start-ups establish here.
"The population is young and digitally ahead of the curve."
