Despite stating earlier that "I have no intention of writing stuff off", chief executive Jeremy Masding said that the controversial development may be a special case.
Permanent TSB says it has the same position as AIB in considering sustainable measures for the affected customers.
Executives from the bank are appearing at the Oireachtas Finance Committee today.
Mr Masding said that Priory Hall is a unique case.
"There is something unique about it and therefore we need to have a level of empathy and sympathy, which we will do," he said.
"And again, I commit to the Committee that, like David [Duffy] in AIB, we'll work towards a sustainable solution."
