Daffodil Day will go on despite weather

Some 4,000 volunteers for the charity are aiming to raise €3.4m, on this its annual collection day.
One in three people will be affected by cancer at some point in their lifetime, and more than 26,000 people were diagnosed with the disease here in 2010.
Head of Fundraising at the Irish Cancer Society, Mark Mellett, explains the wide range of services the organisation provides to patients and their families.
"Free night-nursing services available for people who want to have nursing in their home when they come to the end of their cancer journey,
"last year, for example, over 7,000 nights of care were delivered.
"We also have our national cancer information line, that's 1800 200 700."
