Ryanair to appeal Netherlands ruling that is 'littered with errors'

Ryanair has said it will appeal a €370,000 fine for violating its online booking system.

The Netherlands Consumer Authority imposed the penalty because Ryanair offered fares on its website that did not include all "foreseeable and unavoidable" costs, such as fees and surcharges.

The Authority said, in most cases, consumers paid considerably more than the fares initially displayed on the Ryanair site.

The carrier said the ruling is "littered with errors", and that its website fully complies with all EU and Dutch consumer regulations.
