NAMA adds 100 new properties to deferred payment initiative

NAMA has added a further 100 properties to its deferred payment initiative.

The scheme seeks to insure the buyer against a further drop in value of their new home of 20%.

The properties - which range from two bed apartments to five bed houses - are located in counties Cork, Dublin, Limerick and Wicklow, and cost between 95 and 370 thousand euro.

So far the 80-20 initiative has generated 22 million euro to pay down debts owed to NAMA.
