Six arrests following garda assault in Tallaght

Six people were arrested in Dublin following an attack on a member of the gardaí overnight.

The incident happened at 4am this morning in Tallaght when gardaí attended a report of a disturbance at a house at Redwood lawn.

The garda received a serious facial injury during the attack

The two women and four men arrested have been released without charge. A file is being sent to the DPP.
