Three men charged in connection with Butterly murder in special sitting of court

The father-of-three was gunned down outside a pub in Gormanstown, Co. Meath on Wednesday.
Peter Butterly, a father of three from Dunleer, Co Louth was known to gardaĆ for having links to dissident republicans.
He was shot dead in broad daylight in the car park of the Huntsman pub in Gormanstown on Wednesday afternoon.
It is believed his death was the result of an IRA feud.
Three men were brought before a special sitting of the Special Criminal Court last night.
David Cullen, of Brackenwood Avenue, Balbriggan, Dublin was charged with the unlawful possession of a firearm under suspicious circumstances.
Dean Evans, of Grange Park Rise, Raheny, Dublin was charged with IRA membership, possession of a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life.
And Edward McGrath from Land Dale Lawns, Springfield in Tallaght, Dublin was charged with the same offences as Mr Evans.
The men, aged 28, 22 and 31 respectively, have been remanded in custody to appear before the Special Criminal Court again next Thursday (March 14).
