Beaumont Hospital restricts visits due to flu outbreak

Dublin's Beaumont Hospital is asking the public not to visit the facility unless absolutely necessary due to an outbreak of flu.

Forty-five cases of influenza have been recorded in the hospital since February 13.

In an effort to protect patients, children are not permitted into the hospital. Essential visiting may only occur between 2pm and 4pm and between 6pm and 8pm.
