Central Bank publishes name of unauthorised investment firm

The Central Bank has published the name of an unauthorised investment firm operating here.

US firm Lawrence James and Associates has been offering investment services to Irish people, but it is not authorised as an investment firm in Ireland.

It is a criminal offence for an investment firm to operate in Ireland unless it has an authorisation from the Central Bank.
