The tests were carried out in light of the recent horsemeat scandal across Europe, and all of the positive results were previously published.
The European Commission has now asked each member state to put in place new plans for testing for the presence of horsemeat.
In Ireland, 50 samples of beef products will be taken for the survey in March, the results of which will be reported to the European Commission by April 15.
