More than 2,300 lines of inquiry are being pursued and statements from more than 800 people have been taken.
Investigating officers are renewing their appeal for information about the detective's killing.
Gardaí are also seeking information about a luminous green Cosatto child carseat and a mallet-type hammer with a black-and-red handle.
Assistant Garda Commissioner Kieran Kenny, who is leading the investigation, rejected reports the inquiry is being wound down.
He said: "The provision of resources is something that is my responsibility and I can tell you that there has been no reduction in the resources that are there.
"Resources, say for instance for the searches of certain areas that have been completed, or for certain facets that have been completed, have been moved to other areas.
"The same dedicated team are working on this investigation."
"On the night of the murder in the car park in Lordship Credit Union there were at least five people involved in the incident. One person fired the fatal shot that killed Adrian Donohoe.
"There are people out there who have knowledge of Adrian's murder and I would ask them to reflect on the impact that Adrian's death has had on the family, the Garda Síochána and the community where he lived and where he served. I would appeal to anybody who has information about the murder to contact us please".
