Garda: Saving baby's life 'nothing more than any person would do'

Garda Aodhan O'Flaithearta performed CPR on three-month-old Gary Lee Carey at Portlaoise Station last Sunday week after the tot stopped breathing.
His parents Mary Ann and Kevin had called into the public office, fearing they would not reach the hospital in time.
Resuscitation attempts continued as the child was brought to hospital in a squad car and doctors, who discovered an obstruction in his throat, said he suffered no long-term damage.
Garda O'Flaitherata told Midlands 103 that they are trained to cope with such emergencies.
He said: "It would happen probably once or twice over the course of your career, but that is why we are trained to do it.
"We usually get there before anyone else, especially in the more rural garda stations, and those first few minutes really count.
"It is nothing more than any person, any guard, would have done had they been put in that situation."
