Constitutional Convention to meet for second weekend

The second full weekend meeting of the Constitutional Convention will take place in Dublin this weekend.

Over the course of the two-day event the convention will consider a proposal to amend the clause within the Constitution which emphasises the centrol role of women in the home.

Presentations will be given by civil society groups as well as discussions and feedback sessions.

The meeting will also give consideration to measures to increase women's participation in politics and public life.
