One arrest after guns and drugs seized in Darndale, Dublin

A man in his 20s has been arrested after guns and drugs were found in north Dublin.

Gardaí recovered three firearms and a small amount of cannabis yesterday evening, after they carried out a planned search of a house at Tulip Court, Darndale, as part of an investigation into organised crime.

The man is currently being detained at Coolock Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
