Phone and broadband repairs continue after storms

Work is continuing across the country today as eircom repairs damages to its lines following this week's bad weather.

More than 3,000 faults were reported on Thursday night after thunder storms in the south and south east of the country.

Repairs are required in counties Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny, Cork, Clare, Galway and Mayo.

Eircom said it is working as hard as possible to repair damage to its telephone and broadband services.
