Wildlife Trust reveal fears over future of badger

The Irish Wildlife Trust is raising concerns about the future of the badger due to a planned 50 percent increase in beef production.

Under Harvest 2020, the government has published far-reaching targets for increased food production.

The IWT points to research that shows increased herds will contribute to more TB in cattle and badgers.
