Letter bomb on way to Tyrone police officer intercepted

A letter bomb has been posted to a senior police officer in County Tyrone.

The package was addressed to chief inspector Andy Lemon and was intercepted at a sorting office.

He is the area commander in Strabane and has described it as a worrying development.

Dissident republicans are being blamed.
