Man arrested in connection with Dublin shooting

Gardaí investigating the shooting of a man in Dublin this afternoon have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with the incident.

He is being detained at Kilmainham Garda Station.

The 18-year-old victim is understood to have been shot at the Memorial Park in Dublin at approximately 3pm this afternoon.

He was rushed to St. James's Hospital where his condition is said to be critical but stable.
