Road closed in Co Cork after pedestrian involved in accident

The N25 Cork to Waterford Road remains closed eastbound at Carrigtwohill after a pedestrian was struck by a car.

The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, was taken to Cork University Hospital.

His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

Diversions are in place.
