Taoiseach the third best-paid leader in EU

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny is the third best-paid leader in the EU.

Mr Kenny, who cut his salary by €14,000 to €200,000 a year on taking office, is still paid more than the vast majority of EU Leaders.

German Chancellor Angela Merckel and Luxembourg's Prime Minister Jean Claude Junker are the only leaders to be paid more as they earn €250,000 and €210,000 respectively.
