Freddie Starr arrested in connection with Savile investigation

In Britain - Freddie Starr is reported to have been arrested in connection with the wider Jimmy Savile sex abuse investigation.

It is understood that the comedian was detained in Warwickshire at approximately 5.45pm this evening.

The 69-year-old has always maintained his innocence.
