Superstorm Sandy leads to flight cancellations here

The stormy conditions on the US east coast are having a knock-on effect on some travel schedules here.

Aer Lingus has said its flights arriving into and departing from JFK Airport in New York are cancelled for the day.

All the latest updates to the schedules for today and tomorrow are being posted on their website.

Passengers are being advised to check the information before leaving home for the airport.
