Ireland ranks highly in incidences of Spina Bifida

Ireland has one of the highest incidences of Spina Bifida in the world, something that is being highlighted on the first world Spina Bifida day.

The SBHI (Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland) says it aims to raise awareness of the condition, which affects thousands of Irish people.

The group says it is also hoping to fundraise through the events it's holding today.
