Mirror installed to enable men see into female restroom

An artist has installed a one-way mirror in a Vienna cafe which allows men using the loo to look into the women's restroom.

Alexander Riegler said the mirror is an attempt to "stir people into a discussion of voyeurism" in an era when almost everyone is being watched.

The mirror only shows women at the sink area and does not offend anyone's privacy, according to the artist.

The female customers will get their turn in January when the mirror is reversed to let them look at men as they use the urinal.
