Forensic experts searching quarry pool: reports

The BBC are reporting that forensic experts and divers are searching a pool in a quarry in North Wales, where the burnt out car of a missing Irish vet was found.

Catherine Gowing from Co Offaly was last spotted eight days ago at a supermarket.

Earlier today, 46-year old Clive Sharp from Bethesda appeared in court charged with Catherine's murder.

The killing is alleged to have taken place sometime between October 11 and 17 in North Wales.

He is due back in court on Tuesday.
