EU give Google four months to change privacy rules

After a nine month investigation, Google has been told its privacy rules don't comply with EU law.

The internet giant is accused of using private data from products like Gmail and YouTube, to target specific advertising.

Authorities say they will take legal action if the issue is not resolved within four months, but the company says it is confident its policies respect European law.
