Second held over fatal Cavan stabbing

Gardaí investigating a fatal stabbing at an apartment in Cavan town on Saturday have arrested a second man in his early 30s.

Investigators were already questioning a man in his 40s over the death of the Romanian victim.

He was also aged in his 40s, and died after a number of men forced their way into his flat on Connolly Street in the town.

Both men are being held at Cavan garda station.
