on 11/10/2012 11:31:26
However, prices on average were 1.6% higher in September compared with September 2011.
Education prices saw a 9.6% increase, while transport saw a 7.9% over the course of the year.
Transport, however, saw a monthly drop of 1.1%, due to a decrease in airfares, though that was partially offset by increased in petrol and diesel prices.
There was an increase of 2.9% in clothing and footwear, due to a recovery of prices following summer sales.
Cigarettes and alcohol jumped 0.6%, mainly due to an increase of prices in off licences and supermarkets.
